There are several routes leaving Calig on bike, starting on quiet minor roads. We combine a short visit to Peñiscola with the first of two MTB trails in the Serra de Irta Natural Park. We carry water and snacks along with a complete tool kit and emergency first aid kit, snorkels and masks, towels and inner tubes.

We follow the smugglers coast route to Alcossebre. We return climbing up and skirting the foothills back to Font Nova and Peñiscola. Optimum Mountain Biking in untouched Terrain.

Day 1: Coastal route to Alcossebre, inland singletrack trails.

Day 2: Santa Magdalena del Polpis, interior ridge, 550m descent.

Day 3: Cervera del Maestre, San Mateo, la Jana, Traigera.

Day 4: Calig, la Salzadella, Tirig, cave paintings visit, 660m.

Day 5: River Ebro Delta, San Carles de la Rapita, Tarragona.
